Conférence organisée par Xavier HASCHER dans le cadre des séminaires organisés conjointement par le Département de musicologie de la Faculté des Arts et par le GREAM. Richard HERMANN dispensera une conférence intitulée « Verdi Challenges: Some Transformational Thoughts on the Ave Maria from Quattro Pezzi Sacri of 1898 » lors du séminaire de Master 1 de musique et musicologie sur l'analyse et la théorie du 11 février 2016. L’Ave Maria de Verdi sera chanté par un chœur des étudiants de licence.
Richard Hermann, PhD, Prof. of Music Theory and Composition at the University of New Mexico will speak on his research interests. He has published multiple essays and given talks on the music of Luciano Berio, post-tonal theory, history of theory, and music of the United States. Single publications or talks have focused on feminism, semiotics and post-modernism.
