Mariateresa Storino is professor of History of Music at the Conservatory of Music ‘O. Respighi’ (Latina) and collaborates with the ‘Fondazione Istituto Liszt’ (Bologna). After receiving her Ph.D. in Science of Music at the University of Trento, she held post-doc research fellowships at the University of Bologna. She took part to national and international conferences. Recent publications include the miscellaneous work Franz Liszt and Jessie Taylor Laussot Hillebrand: un capitolo inedito della storia musicale del secondo Ottocento (LIM 2016); the essays Attorno al Simon Boccanegra: la trascrizione da Verdi nel contesto dell’opera dell’ultimo Liszt (Rugginenti 2014), Le quatuor en mi mineur de Verdi entre réminiscences motiviques et emprunts formels (Analyse Musicale 2013). She has published the monograph Franz Liszt. Sonata in si minore (Albisani 2009).
