     Marco Mangani, formerly researcher at the Faculty of Musicology of the University of Pavia/Cremona, is now associate professor at the Department for Humanities of the University of Ferrara. He has written essays on Renaissance polyphony and on Italian instrumental music of the 18th and 19th centuries, and a book on Boccherini.
